is a Architecture and Design firm in Puerto Rico that has been actively involved in providing quality services to both private and pubic clients. Our services include those of Architecture, Urban Design & Planning and Landscape Architecture.
Since its establishment in 1980, ESCALA, has made it possible to offer a more comprehensive service in each field of work; be it Architecture, Urban Design or Landscape Architecture. The integration of these disciplines in our office allow us to study any piece of Architecture, from its relations to its program and the wider urban or natural context; and allows all works of Urban Design to take into consideration its architectural feasibility.
ESCALA has provided us the expertise in institutional, residential, commercial, religious and public commisions, open urban and recreational spaces Profound analysis is given to make the most of the site and the owners resources. All projects are studied in three dimensional form using models and/or drawings to achieve an integrated architectural idea and space relationship. Cost analysis is carefully carried out at the end of each design phase to asses the economic impact of the design descisions. The development of the final construction documents, including a close coordination with our consulting engineers, and a rigorous administration of the Construction Contract; enables ESCALA to transforms the ideas into realities!
